Our Skin Care Program will teach you everything you’ll need to know in order to acquire a Florida Esthetician license

Students that graduate from the skin care program at Puttin' On The Tips are fully equipped to begin employment as an Esthetician/ Facial specialist. This program provides State of Florida certification for Facial Specialty. If they also have a Nail Specialty, a student is eligible for Florida State Full Specialty registration. This program is the pinnacle of beauty education at Puttin' on the Tips, but it’s still as flexible, hands-on, and supportive a learning environment as our other courses.

In this program, you will receive instruction and hands-on training in:

  • Facials and other spa treatments
  • Eyebrow procedures
  • Waxing
  • Skin treatments such as masks, electricitys, etc.
  • Makeup application
  • Diagnosing skin types and suggesting treatments
  • Deep cleansing treatments
  • Exfoliation
  • Product specifications
  • Retailing practices

Skin Care Specialization Program FAQs:

  • How long does the course take? – You set your pace, but the course requires 260 hours of instruction. Students graduate within 13–15 weeks.
  • How much does the course cost? – There is an upfront fee of $1500, then four payments of $687.50 (due at the beginning of each month, in advance of class attendance, as agreed upon by the School Administrator)
  • What payment methods do you accept? – We accept checks, debit, or credit cards.
  • What does tuition cover? – Tuition covers all of the instruction and most supplies.
  • Are there any additional charges? – The state of Florida’s DBPR requires a licensing fee after you pass the examination.
